Welcome to NOVA Montréal : a community organization offering free services
NOVA Montréal is a non-profit charitable organization that offers health care services to the Montreal community, free of charge. We are dedicated providing compassionate, high quality, personalized, in-home care to people who are ill or nearing the end of life and the families who support them.
Our dedicated home health aides provide desperately needed in-home respite for parents coping with the challenges of their chronically ill or disabled pre-school aged child.
Additional respite and support are offered to our NOVA clients at no charge, thanks to our volunteers who donate their time and efforts in helping make someone else’s life easier. This service is also available for clients in the Home Support and Palliative Care programs.
HOME SUPPORT/PALLIATIVE CARE
NOVA Montréal is here to help with the ever-increasing needs of the frail elderly, and to help people cope with the long-term effects of chronic illnesses such as, arthritis, strokes, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, or other situations resulting with a loss of autonomy. Trained and compassionate home health aides can provide home support services at a reasonable fee or for free *. Our goal is to enable those in need, to maintain their independence at home in secure and familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
We also provide specialized home nursing care and support for families of individuals in the terminal phase of cancer. Our dedicated nurses are available on a 24 hour, seven-days a week basis.
*if client meets our criteria/requirements.
