A Message From Our Board President

I am very pleased to announce that effective today VON Montreal has a new name – NOVA Montréal.

This change in name became necessary when VON Canada decided to restructure the organization into a single administrative national entity. Our branch, along with many others, has been forced to sever our relationship with VON Canada in order to maintain local direction, management and accountability.

Let me emphasize that only our name is changing. We are the same community-based health and social services organization that has served our community for over 108 years. Our people, our services and our commitment remain the same.

We hope you like our fresh new look. We are proud of the fact that NOVA was first suggested by one of our nurses and we think it will help us bring new recognition for the professionalism of our community-based caregivers.
