NOVA Montréal’s Strategic Plan 2010 -2015

To increase the visibility of NOVA Montréal NOVA Montréal must build on its previous reputation (as VON Montreal) for high quality care to transfer that reputation to the new image of NOVA Montréal.

To develop a succession plan to effectively meet human resource needs NOVA Montréal will have a stable human resource base in place with a plan to effectively replace aging employees upon their retirement and to ensure ongoing competent management of the organization.

To be a strong advocate to increase availability of client-centered home and community based care NOVA Montréal must advocate on behalf of its clients for high quality client care in the home environment that emphasizes safety for both the provider and the client.

To deliver safe, high quality patient care and ensure the health and safety of employees, patients and the public Nova Montréal must allocate both human resources and financial resources to ensure the promotion of a culture of client and employee safety across the spectrum of care delivery.

To increase financial resources in order to maintain current level of services and to allow for expansion of services to meet emerging community needs NOVA Montréal must seek sustainable sources of funding in order to have adequate financial resources to provide services.
